The Mission Lazarus social enterprise program exists to empower local Hondurans and Haitians, who would otherwise not have the opportunity, to learn artisan skills and sustainable business development training in efforts to advance their overall education.
The first Mission Lazarus vocational schools opened in 2002 offering carpentry and sewing in communities being served by local churches. Since that time our program has grown.
Today our vocational training program includes sewing, leather working, boot making, and carpentry.
In the efforts of seeking holistic transformation Mission Lazarus also focuses on the area of agriculture. If you are interested in learning more about our current efforts to grow our agricultural outreach visit sanlazaroestacoffee.com
Purchasing one of our handmade products and coffee provides funding for our vocational schools, agriculture programs in the social enterprise program, as well as funding for the operating costs of the Mission Lazarus Refuge children's home.
Mission Lazarus glorifies God by advancing His Kingdom through holistic ministry and social enterprise with educational, medical, agricultural, and spiritual outreaches. Find out more about all of our programs by visiting missionlazarus.org.
